Mike Weir is the latest professional athlete to join a prosperous lineup speaking up about the benefits of BEMER Therapy.
Mike’s career is peppered with impressive accomplishments—most notably, his 2003 victory at The Masters, making him the first and only Canadian to win the coveted green jacket. During that season, he won at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic as well as the Nissan Open and was the runner-up to Tiger Woods for the Player of the Year Award. Currently, Mike serves as a full-time member of the Champions Tour and assistant captain on the International Team for the Presidents Cup.
Although Mike initially dreamed of playing professional hockey, everything changed after picking up his first club. Mike got his start on the Canadian Professional Golf Tour in 1992 and officially joined the PGA TOUR in 1998. Since then, the PGA Pro has played on the World Cup National Team six times and the Presidents Cup five times. Mike was awarded the Lionel Conacher Award three times as Canada’s Male Athlete of the Year, and in 2009, he became an inductee into the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame.
Off of the golf course, Mike is well-known for his philanthropic efforts and received two Order of Canada inductions for his charitable work through the Mike Weir Foundation, which is dedicated to advancing the physical, emotional and educational welfare of children. His organization has raised over $7 million for countless local and national children’s charities across Canada.
